Positive Behavior Support Program

Positive Behavior = Positve Support

Good behavior is always rewarded at O. Perry Walker through our Positive Behavior Support Program. This program rewards students with requested privileges when they exemplify positive behavior.

Through the Student Government Association, students request the privileges they would like. The Positive Behavior Support Program grants some of those wishes based on the student body's positive behavior everyday. If the student body doesn't exemplify positive behavior, some or all previleges are taken away. Previleges gained or denied are contingent upon student behavior.

A few daily and weekly examples of the Positive Behavior Support Program are: Cell Phone and Electronic Device access during lunch, "Dress-Down Day", "Any Shoe Wednesday", and DJ Friday". Occassional and Seasonal rewards include: Ice Cream during lunch, Easter Egg Hunts, Junior/Senior picnics, Faculty vs Students Basketball Games, and Class Olympics.
